The Herbal Order upholds numerous precepts, many of which are scarcely achievable for mortal beings.
Take the precept of “No Attachment to Home” for instance—it does not mean renouncing one’s family in the physical sense, but rather embracing boundless compassion while keeping one’s heart unburdened by worldly attachments.
Another precept is “Selflessness”: when a disciple of the Herbal Order tends to the sick, they must wholeheartedly commit to healing, regardless of their own safety. They shall face no fear even at the cost of their own lives.
There is also the precept of “Cultivate Verbal Virtue, Moral Virtue, and Align Words with Actions”. On the surface, it may seem easy to follow, yet its profound implications make true adherence a formidable challenge upon deeper reflection.
The celestial Herbal Order imposes rigorous requirements on its disciples. Any transgression of these cardinal rules will incur penalties from the celestial realm.
